Redwood Quote Designer
Overview
The Redwood Quote Designer is integrated into the quote layout. Administrators can easily switch between Live and Design modes to view real-time changes. Seamless editing improves efficiency and accuracy in layout design with robust undo and redo functionality. The Redwood Designer advanced customization features allow administrators to tailor the appearance and layout views to match specific customer requirements. CPQ also provides several multiple pre-defined views for standard Commerce processes allowing quick implementation of the Redwood Quote UI.
Live / Design Modes
Note: The destination for the Redwood Quote UI header Settings icon is contextual and is different for Live mode versus Design mode.

In Live mode, the Settings icon will navigate to the Admin Home page. The Redwood header displays Global Navigation Links in Live mode. Available icons are defined by the site Navigation Menu settings.

In Design mode, the settings icon opens the Quote Detail Settings drawer.
Layout Themes
The Redwood Quote Designer provides multiple pre-built themes to match your company's branding and ensure a uniform appearance across quote documents and user interfaces. Layout themes are applied to the Redwood Quote UI and the Redwood Quotes List UI. CPQ provides the following themes:

Express and Guided Imports
Express and Guided Import options simplify and streamline the migration process from JET and Legacy layouts to the Redwood layout. They provide a user-friendly design to guide administrators step-by-step through the migration process to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

Administration
Enable a Redwood Quote UI
Complete the following steps to enable the Redwood Quote UI for a Commerce Process.

Navigate to the Admin page.

Click Process Definition in the Commerce and Documents section.

Click on the Name link for the applicable Commerce process.

Select the Redwood Layout UI.

Use the Order Priority fields to define the priority of each layout. Sales users with access to multiple layouts can view the layouts based on the defined priority.

Click Apply or Update.
Notes:
-
After enabling the Redwood layout, an Access Rights link displays next to the Redwood option.

The Access Rights link is only available for enabled layouts and is not available for default layouts.

If applicable, click the Access Rights link to open the Process Administration Access Editor.

Use the access shuttles to specify which the user types and groups have access to the layout.

To add access, select and move the user type or group into the applicable Show list.

To remove access, select and move the user type or group into the applicable Hide list.

Click Apply or Update to save changes to the access permissions.

Deploy the Commerce Process.
Navigate to the Redwood Quote Designer

Open or create a Redwood quote.

Click on Design.

To edit a layout element, select the applicable element and then click the Settings icon
to open the settings panel.

Note: If you enable the Redwood Quote UI, make layout changes in the Redwood Designer, and then disable the Redwood Quote UI; the layout settings are saved and will be applied if the Redwood Quote UI is enabled again.
