Shipping Line Attribute Set

Overview

This transaction line attribute set provides shipping related information for each line. These attributes are used for pre-priced orders from Oracle Commerce Cloud Self-Service Portal integrations. The shipping values can also be provided by sales users or REST API services.

Shipping line attributes are created together and removed together. The Shipping Line Attribute Set can be created only once in a document.

Ship To party Id

This attribute contains the Party ID for the Ship To Customer for this line. This attribute is used when a generalized Party object is used to identify customer parties.

Ship To Party Site Id

This attribute contains the Id for the Party Site or Address of the Ship To party for this line.

Shipping Carrier Name

This attribute contains the name of the carrier who ships and delivers the items.

Shipping Group

This attribute contains the identifier for the group of order lines in the order that ship together from one location to one destination, and that use the same scheduled ship date.

Shipping Instructions

This attribute contains instructions for the system on how to ship this item.

Shipping Mode of Transport

This attribute contains the mode of transport to ship and deliver the item.

Shipping Service Level

Administration

ClosedAdd a Shipping Line Attribute Set(Only available for Non-Standard Process)

Complete the following steps to create a Shipping Line Attribute Set along with the associated attributes.

  1. Navigate to Admin Home > Quotes > Process > Manage Transaction Line > Attributes.
  2. Click + Attribute.
  3. Select Shipping Line Attribute Set from the Type menu.
  4. Click Create.

ClosedEdit Shipping Line Attribute Set Attributes

Complete the following steps to edit a Shipping Line Attribute Set attribute.

  1. Navigate to Admin Home > Quotes > Process > Manage Transaction Line > Attributes..
  2. Click on the Shipping Line attribute set name.

  3. Click on the applicable attribute name.

    Refer to Commerce Attributes for information about editing attributes.

  4. Click the Translations Translations icon icon to add translations.

  5. Select one of the following:

    • Click Save to save changes and remain on the current page.

    • Click Save & Close to save changes and return to the attributes list page.

    • Click Cancel to return to the attributes list page without saving changes.
