Product Line Attribute Set

Overview

A sub-document (Transaction Line) Product Line attribute set contains all the details of the product line to which the catalog line item belongs. Only one Product Line attribute set can be added per sub-document. When you create a Product Line attribute set, the Commerce system automatically generates five fields, each of which has editable characteristics.

Product Line Supplier Company Name Text Product line supplier company name
Product Line Variable Name Text Variable name of the product line

Administration

ClosedAdd a Product Line Attribute Set

Complete the following steps to create a Product Line attribute set along with the associated attributes.

  1. Navigate to Admin Home > Quotes > Process > Manage Transaction Line > Attributes.
  2. Click + Attribute, then enter the following information:
  3. Select Product Line Attribute Set from the Type menu.
  4. Click Create.

ClosedEdit Product Line Attribute Set Attributes

Complete the following steps to edit a Product Line Attributes Set attribute.

  1. Navigate to Admin Home > Quotes > Process > Manage Transaction Line > Attributes..
  2. Click on the applicable Product Line attribute set name.

  3. Click on the applicable attribute name.

    Refer to Commerce Attributes for information about editing attributes.

  4. Click the Translations Translations icon icon to add translations.

  5. Select one of the following:

    • Click Save to save changes and remain on the current page.

    • Click Save & Close to save changes and return to the attributes list page.

    • Click Cancel to return to the attributes list page without saving changes.

ClosedDelete a Product Line Attribute Set

Complete the following steps to delete a Product Line Attribute Set along with the associated attributes.

  1. Navigate to Admin Home > Quotes > Process > Manage Transaction or Manage Transaction Line > Attributes..
  2. Select Delete from the Product Line attribute set Actions menu.
  3. Click Delete.
