eSignature Set

Overview

The eSignature Attribute Set holds eSignature Attributes. The Transaction (main document) eSignature Attribute Set eSignature (eSignatureAttributeSet_esig_set) is provided with the Standard Process. This attribute set and the associated attributes cannot be deleted from a Standard Process.

When you create an eSignature Set, the Commerce system automatically generates three composite fields, each of which has editable characteristics.

The Date Modified field contains the date of the most recently performed action on this document

eSignature Envelope ID [eSignature Attribute Set]

The Envelope ID is a hidden field that is sent along with the document to the eSignature Vendor

eSignature File Attachment [eSignature Attribute Set]

File Attachment

The File Attachment attribute holds the documents to be sent to the eSignature Vendor

The Recipients holds the emails and names of the intended recipients

Administration

ClosedAdd an eSignature Set

Complete the following steps to create an eSignatures Set along with the associated attributes.

Note: eSignature Sets can only be added to Transactions (main documents).

  1. Navigate to Admin Home > Quotes > Process > Manage Transaction > Attributes.
  2. Click + Attribute.
    1. Type: Select eSignature Set, then enter the following information:.
    2. What is the name of the attribute? This the name of the attribute.

    3. Variable Name: The variable name of the attribute.
      Click inside this filed to auto-populate the variable name. Variable names can only contain alpha-numeric characters and underscores. The entry can be changed before saving, but after saving the value is read-only.

  3. Click Create.

ClosedEdit eSignature Set Attributes

Complete the following steps to edit eSignature Set attributes.

  1. Navigate to Admin Home > Quotes > Process > Manage Transaction > Attributes..
  2. Click on the applicable eSignature Set name.

  3. Click on the applicable attribute name.

    Refer to Commerce Attributes for information about editing attributes.

  4. Click the Translations Translations icon icon to add translations.

  5. Select one of the following:

    • Click Save to save changes and remain on the current page.

    • Click Save & Close to save changes and return to the attributes list page.

    • Click Cancel to return to the attributes list page without saving changes.

ClosedDelete an eSignature Set

Complete the following steps to delete an Additional Address Set along with the associated attributes.

Note: You can't delete the following standard process eSignature Attribute Set eSignature (eSignatureAttributeSet_esig_set).

  1. Navigate to Admin Home > Quotes > Process > Manage Transaction > Attributes..
  2. Select Delete from the applicable eSignature Set Actions menu.
  3. Click Delete.
