Partner Parts Integration
Overview
Partner Parts Integration allows you to maintain a Parts Master—the primary parts database—in either Oracle CPQ or a Partner system. Some example Partner Parts Integration are:
- Siebel: Parts can be imported from or exported to Siebel. The import/export Price Book Entries option is disabled for Siebel, since Siebel does not have Price Books.
Administration
Export
When the Parts Master (aka source, primary) is CPQ, the Parts/Price Books are maintained in your Oracle CPQ application. Hence Parts and /or Price Book Associations have to be exported to the partner system from your Oracle CPQ environment. Parts extended descriptions can also be exported from Oracle CPQ to the partner system. For more information, see the topic Export Parts - Oracle CPQ as Parts Master.
Parts Export supports integration XSL file filtering.
Import
When the Parts Master (aka source, primary) is the partner system, Parts/Price Books are maintained in the partner system. Hence Parts and/or Price Books have to be imported from the partner system into CPQ. Parts extended descriptions can also be imported from the partner system to CPQ. CRM Delta Parts Sync
The Integration of Parts, Parts Extended Descriptions, and Price Book information between CRMs and Oracle CPQ occurs incrementally. You can choose to send parts when syncing/scheduling a Delta Parts Sync; for example, when exporting and/or importing parts from the last export/import date.
- Navigate to the List Integrations page.
- Click Admin to go to the Admin Home Page.
Click Parts under Products.
The Parts Search for Admin page opens.
Click List in the Price Book section.
The Price Book Administration List page opens.
Click the Name of the Price Book you want to export.
The Price Book Administration page opens.
Click Integration.
The List Integrations page opens.

Select the Delta checkbox.
This reduces overall Integration time.
Oracle Fusion CRM Integration
Beginning in Oracle CPQ 23C part administrators can perform the following steps to run or schedule part import or export directly from the Parts Integration.
- Click Parts in the Products section of the Admin Home page. The Part Administration page displays.

Click Integration from the Part Administration page.
- Select an import or export process from List Integrations section.

Click Run Now to begin the selected integration or Schedule to begin the selected integration at a later time.
- (Optional) If you opted to schedule the integration for a later time, click Refresh to view the scheduled integration in the Scheduled Integrations section.
- (Optional) View the Integration History to verify the status of a part import or export job and see log details.
Notes:
- Oracle CPQ 23C also supports Oracle Sales Product Information Master (SPIM) integration which provides pre-defined synchronization and single source control of parts management from Oracle Sales to Oracle CPQ. Refer toOracle Sales Product Information (SPIM) Integration for more information.
- Prior to Oracle CPQ 23C, Oracle Fusion CRM part administrators maintained Product Hub credentials within the PIM tab of their My Profile page. In Oracle CPQ 23C, entry and maintenance of those credentials is moved to the Integration Center. Therefore, the PIM tab within the My Profile page is removed.
- Prior to Oracle CPQ 23C, customers were required to log a Service Request in order to designate whether the product master for their site was CPQ or PIM. When PIM was selected, only import integrations were shown. When CPQ was designated, only export integrations were shown. In Oracle CPQ 23C and later, you no longer must designate a product master and both import and export processes are available.
- The Integrations Log section of the Parts Integrations page designates if the job is parts import or export.
- You are not able to run or schedule a single job which includes both import and export integrations. You may only run integrations of one type at a time.

Parts Integration is not enabled for all applications. Contact your Oracle CPQ application sales representative to enable this feature.

To integrate your site with either Salesforce or Siebel, contact the System FullAccess user.
Note: Only the FullAccess user can invoke an Integration (Export/Import).
