Delta Price Attributes (Delta Pricing Set)

Overview

The delta price to extend the delta pricing to Oracle CPQ Commerce transactions for ABO sites. This allows for delta pricing information to be easily available to end users by enabling the following valuable operations:

The sub-document (Transaction Line) Delta Price Attributes set is provided with the Standard Process. This array set and the associated attributes cannot be deleted.

When you create a Config attribute set (for non-Standard Process), the Commerce system automatically generates three composite fields, each of which has editable characteristics. Only one Config attribute set can be added per sub-document (Transaction Line).

Displays the price difference for the updated line item.

Displays the prior price for the updated line item.

Rollup Delta Price

Displays the model level price difference of all child items for the updated model.

Administration

ClosedAdd a Delta Price Attributes Set (Only available for Non-Standard Process)

Complete the following steps to create a Delta Price Attributes Set along with the associated attributes.

  1. Navigate to Admin > Process Definition.
  2. Select Attributes from the main document Navigation drop-down, and then click List.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Select Delta Pricing Set from the Attribute Type drop-down.

Complete the following steps to edit an Delta Price Set attribute.

  1. Navigate to Admin > Process Definition.
  2. Select Attributes from the main document Navigation drop-down, and then click List.
  3. Click on the applicable Delta Price Set name.
  4. Click on the applicable attribute name.
  5. Refer to Commerce Attributes & Array Sets for information about different attribute types and editing attributes.
  6. After you have finished your edits, click Apply or Update.
