Broadcast Email

Overview

An admin can send a Broadcast Email to all Host Company active users, all active users from all Partner Organizations, or all active users. Broadcast Emails go to all user types.

All Broadcast Emails will be appended with the site’s Email Signature. See the topic Email Signatures for more information.

Accessing the Broadcast Email page

1. Click Admin to go to the Admin Home Page.

2. Click Broadcast Email in the Utilities section.

   The Broadcast Email to Active Users page opens in a new window.

Sending a Broadcast Email

1. Navigate to the Broadcast Email page.
   1. Click Admin to go to the Admin Home Page.

   2. Click Broadcast Email in the Utilities section.

      The Broadcast Email to Active Users page opens in a new window.

2. Fill out the following fields before sending a Broadcast Email:

   Field	Description
   From Name	The name that the Broadcast email will be from
   *From Email	The email address that the Broadcast Email will be from and that responders reply to. A valid email address must be entered. Note: The email will be sent from Oracle CPQ using the site’s email server, not from the From Email.
   To Email	Email address(es) that the Broadcast Email will be sent to. Multiple email addresses should be separated by a comma. Note: Use the To Email field to add email addresses of people that are not active users on the site, but that should receive the Broadcast Email.
   CC Email	The active users that will be carbon copied on the Broadcast Email. The admin can choose one of the following menu options: Host Company Active Users All active users of the Host Company will be carbon copied on the Broadcast Email Partner Organization Active Users All active users of all Partner Organizations will be carbon copied on the Broadcast Email Both All active users of the Host Company and active users of all Partner Organizations will be carbon copied on the Broadcast Email
   BCC Email	The active users that will be blind carbon copied on the Broadcast Email. The admin can choose one of the following menu options: Host Company Active Users All active users of the Host Company will be blind carbon copied on the Broadcast Email Partner Organization Active Users All active users of all Partner Organizations will be blind carbon copied on the Broadcast Email Both All active users of the Host Company and active users of all Partner Organizations will be blind carbon copied on the Broadcast Email
   *Subject	The subject of the Broadcast Email
   Comments	The body content of the Broadcast Email

   *Required field

3. After filling out all desired fields, click Send to send the Broadcast Email. Click Close to close the dialog box and return to the page without saving any changes.

   The Broadcast email will not be sent or saved if the dialog box is closed.
