Configuration Actions

Perform the following steps to create a new Configuration action.

1. Navigate to the Admin Home page.
2. Click Catalog Definition in the Products section.
3. Navigate to the applicable Product Family, Product Line, or Model.
4. Select Actions from the Navigation drop-down, and then click List.

5. Click Add.

   

6. Enter the Name and Variable Name.
7. Click Apply or Update.

Perform the following steps to add a Configuration action conditions for a Recommendation.

1. Navigate to the Admin Home page.
2. Click Catalog Definition in the Products section.
3. Navigate to the applicable Product Family, Product Line, or Model.
4. Select Recommendations from the Navigation drop-down, and then click List.

5. Select the applicable Configurable Action from the Attribute or Action drop-down.

   

6. The following value are auto populated:
   1. Operator: Equals
   2. Value Type: Static
   3. Values: True
7. If applicable, add Attributes and Values to Set.
8. Click Apply or Update and Back.

Perform the following steps to add a Configuration action to a Configuration layout.

1. Navigate to the Admin Home page.
2. Click Catalog Definition in the Products section.
3. Navigate to the applicable Product Family, Product Line, or Model.
4. Select Configuration Flows from the Navigation drop-down, and then click List.

5. Click the “Desktop” Layout link.

6. Select Actions from the Add drop-down.

   

7. Select the appropriate action from Actions window.
8. Drag and drop the action into the layout editor.
9. Click Save.
