Configuration Related Rules Tab
Overview
In the Related Rules tab, you can view all of the rules that are using this particular attribute. The tab displays the name of the rule, what level it is in the hierarchy, the rule type, and the components.
Rule Search
In this section, select one of the following items from the Select Action to Perform drop-down:
- View/Update Related Rules: Populate a list of rules that this attribute is related to. Click on a rule if you wish to make changes.
- View/Update All Rules: Expands the list to include all rules that occur at all levels within a Product Family. Use the Level menu to drill down through Product Family, Product Line, and Model level rules.
- Create New Rule: Create a new rule and open the appropriate Rule Editor. In order to do so:
- Select the level where this rule will fire. Product Family is already selected, but you can choose Product Line and Model if you wish.
- Select the Rule type: Recommendation, Constraint, Bill of Material, Pricing, Configuration Flow, Search Flow, Recommended Items, Hiding Attributes, BOM Mapping, or Single Select Pick Lists.
- Click Create to open the Rule Editor.
Filter
Under the Filter section, you can see the list of rules with which the attribute is associated. Click on a rule to open that rule's editor.
